On Sunday, October 4, local residents will gather along Pampas Ricas Boulevard to celebrate that connection at the second annual “Longest Table” community potluck picnic.

Running from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, this free outdoor gathering transforms a picturesque neighborhood street into a continuous, communal dining room. The concept is wonderfully simple and intentional: organizers set up a long stretch of dining tables, chairs, shade tents, and amenities, while neighbors bring their own lunches to break bread, share conversation, and meet someone new.

The gathering is hosted by active community members Fati Adeli, Lee Ann Daly, Jimmy Dunne, Deb Javerbaum, and Billy Jones, with broad support across local organizations. Sponsors and partners include BMO, the Highlands Recreation and Parks Open Space Committee, Los Angeles City Council District 11, Team Palisades, and the Pali Ambassadors.
