With experts and amateur film buffs alike giving their opinion on every movie currently in theaters, it’s without a doubt award show season. The Academy Awards are Sunday, February 26th, and if you weren’t one of the lucky few to win the Oscars Fan Experience, then an Oscars Party is the next best thing. Every year FIDM hosts it’s a showcase of Oscar-nominated costumes in the Best Costume Design category. The Free exhibit includes nominated costumes from the current year's nominees as well as the winners for best costume design from the previous year.

Art Theatre in Long Beach
Playing dress up isn’t just for children. The historic Art Theatre in Long Beach is hosting a fundraiser Red Carpet Oscar Viewing Party. The event is invitation only, but all you need to do is donate at least $25 to the theatre in order to receive the invite. The Academy Awards will be shown live on the big screen. Wine and champagne will be available at the concession stand for $5 a glass.

Night of 100 Stars
Looking to mingle with the stars on Oscars night? Then Night of 100 Stars Gala is the place for you. Watch Hollywood’s most prestigious award show with celebrities who don't have tickets to the Dolby Theatre for the Academy Awards at the annual "Night of 100 Stars" viewing party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Tickets are limited and the event includes reserved table seating, dinner and open bar.

APLA's Oscar Viewing Party at the Abbey
Hollywood’s world renowned gay bar, The Abbey, hosts the annual Aids Project LA fundraiser on Oscars night. Start the night with a red carpet cocktail reception at 4, followed by an optional sit-down dinner for Oscar viewing.
