Pride Month 2021
Celebrating Pride in LA
The LA Pride Parade and Festival has been an annual occurrence in Los Angeles since June 28, 1970. The nonprofit organization Christopher Street West chose the June date to observe the Stonewall Riots that took place exactly one year prior, all the way across the country in New York.
Unfortunately, there won’t be an LA Pride Parade or Festival this year. However, there are still virtual and in-person events to celebrate Pride 2021!
Below are two events put on by CSW. Tickets are available for purchase at their respective links. And if you happen to be interested in volunteering with CSW, click here.
Pride Is Universal gives guests after-hours access to rides and restaurants, live entertainment, and a couple of surprises. Gates open at 4 pm on June 25th! Buy tickets for the discounted price of $96.
Watch The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, enjoy the complimentary photo booth, and dance the night away at the final LA Pride 2021 event.
Happy Pride Month!
