1. Memorial Day Music at The Plaza
Head out to the Manhattan Village on Memorial Day and enjoy some live music while you soak up some sun and enjoy the outdoors. 2. Florence-Firestone Festival
The Florence-Firestone festival will take place on the Memorial Day Weekend starting Friday and ending Monday. This four day festival promises a lot of fun and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. There will be one performing stage with a variety of music as well as many food vendors and arts and crafts exhibitors.

3. One-day woodworking workshop
This one is for the kiddos! If you have kids between the ages of 7-13 and you’re looking for a fun activity to keep them busy and entertained, check out this one-day woodworking camp taking place on Memorial Day at the reDiscover center in LA. At this workshop kids will have a chance to explore their imagination and create eco-friendly creations while you get a few hours to yourself, sounds like a win-win situation!

4. Memorial Day Drive in Concert
Last but not least, if you're a lover of blues and soul (or live music in general), this event is for you. Boxcar 7, will be performing at the Long Beach Scottish Rite parking lot. This concert is a fundraiser put together by the founders of Rock For Vets, and it will benefit Long Beach veterans. The concert will take place on Memorial Day and only 50 car spots are available so make sure to get your tickets soon!
