The Igloo features the Polar Ice Rink, a full-service ice-skating rink; the Penguin Run, a sledding hill; and the Arctic Promenade, which offers a variety of unique products. It's the best place to cool off. It’s located in the Shopping Neighborhood, Expo Hall 9 and is just $5!
For the young paleontologist in your family, check out Jurassic Planet! For just $5, experience LACF's newest adventure where prehistoric creatures once only seen in books & movies now roam the lush hillside of the fairgrounds. “Now domesticated, these giants of the Earth forage in the open air and stretch themselves in the sun, enjoying life once again,” states the LA County Fair website. If none of those things peaked your interest, then there are plenty of other activities at the Fair you might enjoy! Learn the history of the “ Big Six” American sports and play interactive games in Expo Hall 8, learn all about the human body with the “Universe Within” exhibition located In the Grandstand Neighborhood at the bottom level, or just say hi to Stanley the Giraffe in the Enchanted Village! There is something for everyone!
