Join the Venice Beach Clean Up on World Ocean Day!

Calling all beach bums and ocean enthusiasts!

Do your part to keep California's beautiful beaches clean and healthy by participating in a beach clean up event on Saturday, June 8th from 10am to 12pm in Venice Beach. This event coincides with World Ocean Day, a global celebration of our oceans and a call to action to protect them.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Location: Meet at Lifeguard Tower #19 at Venice Beach. Look for the blue pop-up tent at the meeting location (address: 2100-1 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291).

  • Time: 10am to 12pm

  • What to bring: Bucket, trash picker, gloves, reusable water bottle, and a completed community service hours sheet (if applicable).

  • What to avoid: Single-use water bottles and plastic bags for collecting trash (they can blow away and pollute the ocean!).

Why participate?

  • Make a difference in your community by keeping Venice Beach clean.

  • Learn about the importance of protecting our oceans.

  • Earn community service hours (if applicable).

  • Have a fun and rewarding experience!

Bonus: There will be raffle and scavenger hunt giveaways with gift card prizes!

Spread the word and bring a friend! Let's work together to keep our beaches pristine and our oceans healthy.
