September is stomping season! September is the harvest season in Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country. This time of year is when winemaking truly begins! In Temecula Valley, it’s not uncommon to throw annual grape stomping festivals to celebrate the harvest. Many of the festivals feature great food, live entertainment, competitions, and photo opportunities. Below, we list our favorite annual spots to stomp some grapes!
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa || September 15, 2019

Somerset Winery || September 21, 2019
Join Somerset Winery to kick off the launch of their very first grape stomp. The event takes place from 4:30pm through 7:00pm and tickets range from $35.00 and $130.00. This family friendly event features prizes for the top teams, a glass of wine for those 21+, and a bottle of wine to share among teams. After the stomping, stick around to enjoy live music by Reggae artist King Schascha and food from Moonage Food Truck.
Ponte Family Estate Winery || September 22, 2019
Join us the Ponte Family Estate for their 17th Annual Grape Stomp and ring in autumn with the ultimate harvest season festival! The cost of tickets include Ponte wine, a catered dinner, live music, dancing and the Grape Stomp competition!
Dinner will include a selection of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, refreshing salads, savory entrées and sides, and desserts. Three drink tickets will be provided for each guest and are redeemable for Ponte wine of your choice and/or beer. Wine Club Members receive up to two (2) discounted tickets.

It you are going to stomp grapes, at least do it for charity! One September 28th, enjoy a day of stomping out cancer with this charity event. From 11:00am through 10:00pm, guests can sip on wine, stomp some grapes and listen to live music. The event benefits Charity for Charity. It will also include a pumpkin farm, a scavenger hunt, pig races, food truck alley, live music, and grape stomping competitions!
