Los Angeles Holiday Lights

The happiest time of the year is finally here! Los Angeles is celebrating the holiday season with an abundance of holiday light displays all across the city. Yay! And considering most light shows and exhibits can be seen from the comfort of your vehicles, going to see holiday lights is a safe and cheery adventure.

We here at Silicon Beach Homes are ecstatic about the holidays, and to share our holiday merriment with all of you, we compiled a list of holiday light displays in Silicon Beach! Holiday light displays remain until the end of the year, and some places even keep their holiday lights up well into the new year. Luckily, this means people have the freedom to choose from a wide range of days and times to visit these holiday light locations.

1. Candy Cane Lane

Located in Woodland Hills, Candy Cane Lane has been a neighborhood tradition since 1952. There is a level of friendly competition at play as neighbors attempt to out-decorate one another every year. Homes adorned in holiday lights, large festive lawn displays, and even artificial snow! The community is open for light viewers from December 12 to 31. The holiday lights are shut off at 10 pm each night, except for weekends, when lights stay on until 11 pm.

2. Fisherman’s Village & Holiday Boat Lights

Set in Marina del Rey, Fisherman’s Village is a walkable holiday light excursion. Lights adorn the area throughout December, and the picturesque harbor views make the experience even more stunning. For an additional boost to your holiday spirit, check out the boats docked at Fisherman’s village, the Marina Promenade, and Burton Chace Park—many are decorated with holiday lights and displays of their own!

3. LIT: A Drive-Thru Hanukkah Experience

LIT is the first drive-thru Hanukkah light show experience in Los Angeles! Not only will visitors be met with a holiday light show and festive music to match, but there is also an animated short film about Hanukkah. The experience will end with celebratory Hanukkah lighting and a fireworks show. Tickets ($75/car) are available until December 20, and you can reserve your space at the link above!

4. SPARKLE DTLA

SPARKLE DTLA at The Bloc will have their holiday light display up until January 3. Visitors can enjoy a light-covered 32’ holiday tree and even take photos with a giant 16’ holiday ornament! Nightly light shows set to festive holiday music are offered hourly from 5 pm to 9 pm. This event is entirely free and open to anyone. Pet parents can even celebrate the holiday season with their fur babies.

5. WonderLAnd

In Woodland Hills, WonderLAnd is a drive-thru light show boasting tons of festive decor and holiday lights. It is a truly immersive holiday experience with light-covered tunnels, winter displays set to cheery music, and even a giant holiday tree. Santa and his elves also roam the area! Purchase tickets for WonderLAnd at the link above. Pricing is $70 for standard vehicles and $90 for large vehicles. The event runs until December 30, with closures on the 24 and 25.

Happy Holidays!
