Just because Los Angeles doesn’t have traditional Christmas weather, doesn’t mean that the city can’t get into the Christmas spirit! From Holiday Markets to Santa Pub crawls, LA is the place for all things festive. Below we have listed just a few of the events that you can attend to get into the holiday spirit!
Looking for that one of a kind gift for the one person in your life that seems to have everything? Then look no further than Unique USA’s Holiday Market. The largest made-in-America shopping event in the country, the annual holiday market features clothes, accessories and art pieces from a number of quality brands handmade in the USA. The event takes place this upcoming weekend, December 3rd and 4th, at the California Market Center. The event begins at 11:00 and is $15 at the door for those over 12 years old.
What is the holiday season without the Christmas carols? With this show, kids and adults alike will be entranced by the sounds of Christmas, as well as the voices of 110 singers. Enjoy elegant renditions of classics such as Deck the Hall, Silent Night, the First Noël, White Christmas, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. At the end of the show, those who believe in Santa’s magic can visit him after the show! The concert costs anywhere from $29 to $109 per ticket, and goes up on Saturday, December 3rd at 2 PM as well as Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 PM. The concert takes place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall at 111 S Grand Ave.
Every December, the LA Zoo creates a spectacular light show that your entire family will be “oohing” and “ahhing” over. Though most of the animals at the Zoo will be asleep, you will still be able to see reindeer and pose for a photo with Santa Clause! We don’t want to spoil any surprises, but we do hear the “ZOOray for Hollywood,” exhibit is a must see! And a little tip from us to you: Buy your tickets in advance to avoid the entry lines. Tickets are $9 each and the zoo lights up at 6:00 PM every night!

The 6th annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl takes place of Saturday, December 10th, and benefits the Westside Food Bank. Buy a ticket from just $15 ($20 at the door), and pick up a wristband that allows you to participate in one of four routes around Santa Monica to experience drink and food specials at some of the city's top spots, including Tacoteca, Cabo Cantina, Ye Olde King's Head, The Albright and more.
