Halloween Events and Attractions in LA

It's that time of the year again! October is here and we are ready for all the spooky events that await. We have compiled a list of events that are happening throughout the month of October so you can enjoy them with friends and family.

A familiar classic and all time favorite is the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride at Griffith Park; they open this Friday, September 30th and will remain open for the entirety of October. Aside from the haunted hayride they have other attractions for you to enjoy. It is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance as they do tend to sell out, especially as it gets closer to halloween.

Of course we cannot forget about a must have October attraction: pumpkin patch. Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch in west LA opens up October 1st, the days and hours they will be open vary so it is best to check out the calendar on their website. Aside from the pumpkin patch they have other attractions such as a rock wall, face painting, bungee jumping and so much more.

If you’re looking for an indoor event check out the Frankenstein with live Orchestra performance at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. The screening of the 1931 Frankenstein will be accompanied by the LA Opera Orchestra and a freshly composed score. This event will take place for two nights at the end of the month, you can either check it out October 28th or the 29th.

We hope you find something fun to do this Halloween season, stay tuned to our weekly newsletters for more local events throughout the month.
