Fourth of July Celebration in Marina del Rey

Fourth of July is coming this week so we have decided to share with you the best location to watch the firework show this Monday as well as share a few other tips and tricks. Those who have witnessed a firework show here in Marina, know that there is nothing better than watching a firework show over the water.

Burton Chace park is known for its annual firework extravaganza. The firework show starts at 9pm and lasts about 20 minutes. The display is launched from the Marina’s South Jetty and they are visible from all over the Marina but the best viewing spots at Burton Chace park and Fisherman’s Village. Parking is limited and some local streets plan to close as early as 1pm. It is recommended you head out early and just stay out for the day enjoying Marina’s attractions such as waterfront restaurants and so much more. There will be public county parking lots open and for a faster entrance it is recommended you pay cash (price varies per lot).

For a fun experience, we recommend you use the Marina Water Bus as it will be cruising throughout the Marina from 12pm-11pm, bikes and strollers are welcomed and the fare fee is $1.00 one way. The Free Beach Shuttle will also be operating from 10am-8pm and it will be hitting major points of interest such as the Waterside Shopping Center and the Venice Beach Pier. For food, we recommend you check out a waterfront restaurant, you can pack your own food but keep in mind that the picnic tables are limited.
