There is a certain thrill to finding one-of-a-kind things, especially when you don’t have to search too far to find them. Silicon Beach is home to some of the top flea markets in the country, making it easy to find antiques, boutique items, and handmade jewelry that are perfectly unique.

Santa Monica Airport Outdoor Market

Take a drive by 3050 Airport Ave in Santa Monica on the 1st and 4th Sunday’s of every month for a fun and unique shopping experience! “You can furnish a house in a day,” says Lisa Arden, producer and daughter of market founder and producer, Eleanor Hedge. “Shop for ancient to antique, Victorian to Mid-Century, vintage to eccentric.”

Noted as one of the “Top Ten Flea Markets in the Country,” this flea market is definitely worth checking out! General admission is $4 but parking nearby is free! This is also a dog-friendly market so feel free to bring your pup along! For more information, email

Venice Antiques and Collectables Flea Market

Presented by the Gondolier Booster Club, a non-profit organization that supports the students and faculty of Venice High School, this flea market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. This smaller flea market has a friendly feel, and all proceeds go to the booster club, so money spent goes back to the kids!

It’s only $25 to sell at this market, which is lower than most in the area, and the vendors are always have really unique items. Find everything from rare records to trench art to old postcards for a fraction of the prices you’ll find at the bigger places like Rose Bowl Flea Market or Melrose Trading Post.

Admission is free and so is the parking, so swing by and see everything that the market has to offer! For more information, email!

Flea Markets are a common site through out Los Angeles, but the unique finds and community feel that you find in Silicon Beach is like no other!
