First Fridays at the Natural History Museum in LA are set to be nights filled with live music and entertainment for all ages!
Starting March 4th until July 1st, the Natural History Museum will allow visitors to explore the museum after hours, accompanied by live music, discussions, and drinks. This year's season has been titled “From Seeds to Psychedelics” and each Friday there will be a discussion regarding the specific topic assigned.
The topics assigned to each Friday are as follows:
March 4th: Plants with Benefits
April 1st: Wild Harvesting
May 6th: Plant Powered
June 3rd: Seed Sovereignty
July 1st: Mushroom Magic
The lineup for March 4th has been shared and so far it includes a discussion to better understand the psychedelic benefits of plant medicine as well as several live performances in the nature gardens with a few other pop ups from a digital artist and several educators.
All eligible participants (ages 2 and older) must present a negative covid test or proof of vaccination. At home tests are not being accepted at this time. For more information on the safety regulations visit https://nhm.org/covid-19-safety-guidelines
