Easter in LA 2021
Celebrate Easter in Los Angeles
Happy almost-Easter, everyone! Exciting news—Los Angeles is bringing back some of the county’s annual Easter celebrations with Covid-19-safe ways to participate. Below you will find a handful of Easter events going on in the area, both on Easter (Sunday, April 4th) as well as a couple days leading up to the holiday, so there is flexibility in scheduling!
Easter Sunday at Home is a basket of spring-themed dinner foods, including roasted lamb and potatoes, a spring salad, and carrot cake for dessert! Celebrate Easter from home with this Easter Basket dinner, all you have to do is heat it and serve. Unfortunately, dietary restrictions are not being accommodated, but if this sounds like something you would be interested in, you can purchase tickets at the link above.
This socially distanced Easter egg scavenger hunt is open to Burbank residents only, but it is a super fun and festive (and Covid-safe!) Easter activity for the family. Burbank residents will drive around the city collecting different eggs and prizes from locations provided via email. This event is entirely free, sign up by March 29 at the link above.
Bianca will be offering an Easter brunch on Easter Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. The restaurant will serve Easter foods inspired by Italian and Argentinian cultures, and you can even pre-order chocolate eggs for the whole family! Easter egg decorating kits are being sold for children as well. You can reserve your basket and extra goodies on their website.
Have your kids take photos with the Easter Bunny at Buena Park Downtown Mall. In order to keep the event Covid-safe, kids will sit in front of the Easter Bunny for the photos. You can reserve your spot online for $5, and that fee will be credited toward the price of whichever photo package you choose. This event takes place this Saturday, March 27, so don’t wait to sign up!
Huckleberry Cafe is offering pick-up for Easter Brunch and Easter Dinner baskets. Brunch comes with vegetable quiche, maple bacon biscuits, and a ton of other goodies. Dinner items include herb-roasted chicken, honey-roasted baby carrots, shepherd’s pie and more. There are also dessert options, including chocolate bird’s nest tarts and berry galette. Similar to Bianca’s offer, you can also order an Easter egg decorating kit for your child, only this basket includes egg-shaped cookies to decorate instead of chocolate eggs. Register online by March 31 at 3 pm.
Last thing! Be sure to double check that the event is still happening the day before and the day of the event, as last minute cancellations are possible due to the pandemic.
