Raising Funds For Evelyn’s BFF
The BRA Run is hosting its ninth annual charity run in Playa Del Rey on August 26th (in-person), and 29th (virtual), and the funds raised will go to Evelyn’s BFF.
Evelyn’s Breast Friends Forever is a non-profit charity organization dedicated to raising funds for treatments breast cancer survivors need. The money raised covers services and procedures that are often not covered by insurance.
Evelyn’s BFF ensures counseling services for survivors and assists in paying for necessary medical procedures, such as reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy. Fundraisers like BRA Run Los Angeles and the community members who donate make Evelyn's BFF’s mission possible.
Silicon Beach Homes is continuing our tradition of participating in the BRA Run this year, and after bringing home the Golden BRA last year for most funds raised, we are hoping to make a new tradition of that as well! With your support, we can help raise funds for and bring awareness to breast cancer reconstruction.
If you are also interested in participating in the BRA Run, there will be in-person and virtual 5K and 13K events, and even a Kids 1K, so the whole family can come out and support an important cause!
Every member of the family can partake in the BRA costume contest as well. Even dogs can participate, so feel free to bring your furry friends! Participants of the run are encouraged to decorate and wear a bra (of any kind), and there will be individual and team awards given out during the contest.
Silicon Beach Homes is honored to be back at the BRA Run, working with other community members to garner awareness about breast cancer and what it means to be a survivor. We hope to see some of you there!
