Best Neighborhoods for Trick or Treating in Silicon Beach

In honor of the season to dress up and have fun, this week we are going to share the best local spots to trick or treat in the Silicon Beach Area.

Halloween is creeping upon us and we want to make sure you have a list of safe and fun neighborhoods to take the little ones for all their trick or treating needs.

If you live in Marina del Rey, then you already know that Silver Strand is the place to be for trick-or-treating. Each year the entire area transforms into a spooky, Halloween celebration, complete with witches, ghosts and ghouls. Apart from the Halloween extravaganza which attracts people from all over, Silver Strand’s popularity stems from the fact that it is a safe place for families and their children to explore and trick or treat. The safety paired with the abundance of things to see and do in the neighborhood in October creates a perfect storm for Halloween.

In Culver City we have the neighborhoods around Veterans Park and Culver High School which are known for their over the top decorating but the houses on the other side of Ballona Creek are not left behind when it comes to decorating their homes and offering their trick or treaters the full experience.

Aside from the cool sea breeze, the Palisades has a lot to offer to trick-or-treaters. North Village is very trick-or-treater friendly considering their street names go in alphabetical order, making it easy to remember where you started.

Dress Code?

You can dress spooky or pretty, princess or ghoulish, dead or alive — it doesn’t matter as long as you don’t come as you are! Instead, come as you want to be!
