Get ready to dive deep into the heart and soul of Venice Beach. On December 6th, Beyond Baroque will host the premiere of "100 Venice Stories," a captivating film that celebrates the iconic beachside neighborhood.
This highly anticipated film is the culmination of a decade-long project by author Jason Hill. Through his "Venice Stories" series, Hill has chronicled the lives of local artists, skaters, entrepreneurs, and activists, capturing the essence of Venice's unique spirit.
The film will feature interviews with legendary figures such as muralist Rip Cronk, boardwalk performer Harry Perry, and skateboarder Ray Flores. It will also explore the historical significance of Venice, paying homage to icons like Abbot Kinney, Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles, and Ray Bradbury.
