The unofficial start of summer is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more ready to get back out on the water. That’s why we’re so excited for the MarinaFest and Boat Show! On Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st, you can explore all things nautical at Burton Chace Park.

At this event, you can enjoy everything from an in-water boat show to a beer & wine garden. Explore the 40+ exhibitors, eat from a number of food trucks, and sing along to the live music! There will also be plenty of children’s activities for your little ones, so no need to worry about finding a babysitter!

And if all of the above events aren’t enough for you, Sunday will double as not only a boat show, but a car show as well! Classic cars and will line the water, for a picture-perfect view. To enter your own car in the exhibition, fill out the application here!

Swing by anytime from 11 AM through 8 PM on Saturday, or 11 AM through 5 PM on Sunday! Landside events and historic tours are free, while the boat show and dock admission costs just $10 for adults, children under 12 are free.

If you’re a local business owner and want to get a little more involved, you can buy an exhibitors booth for $500 for both days. The rented space comes with a 10'x10' open sided tent, 30' x 6' table, two chairs. Or, for $300 more, you can become a silver sponsor. This title comes with everything the normal exhibitor booth comes with, as well as a promotional icon on the MarinaFest site, your logo on newsletters, social media, & event banners as well as two parking passes! The Gold Sponsor, which cost $1,500 is a similar package, but it also includes an announcement from the DJ about your booth, and 2 additional parking passes. According to their website, MarinaFest’s mission is to “showcase of all that Marina del Rey has to offer,” which includes “an in-water boat show & other water activities, along with local businesses, associations, and clubs that call Marina del Rey home.” In doing this they “aim to acquaint all of LA with the opportunities in LA's Marina,” and MarinaFest is just another great way to show the rest of Los Angeles just how amazing our little community is!
