There is nothing quite like New Years Eve in Los Angeles. The city of stars twinkles with anticipation, and the city is a buzz with the hottest parties. This year, we’re giving you a list of some of our favorite places to spend New Years Eve.

 

N.Y.E.L.A.

Dance your heart out and ring in the New Year with all of your best friends at N.Y.E.L.A! The West Coast flagship celebration at Grand Park features live music, food, and photo booths in one big, beautiful countdown to the New Year.

Featured artists for the event include Dexter Story and the All-Star New Year’s Eve Band. The event takes place at Grand Park (200 North Grand Ave) and there is no cost to get into the event.

Prior to going to the event, you should know that there are some things that you are not allowed to bring through security. That includes but is not limited to alcohol, chairs, coolers, umbrellas and selfie sticks. For a full list of items that you cannot bring click here.

 

Prohibition NYE

Take a time machine back to the 1920’s and celebrate the New Year in style! Prohibition NYE returns to the majestic Ticket Concourse at Union Station for a night of burlesque, live jazz ensembles, a headlining DJ set from GOLDROOM, and an open bar featuring champagne and specialty cocktails. To top it off, you’ll get to count down the New Year with a 60 foot ball drop celebration!

The event takes place at Union Station (800 N. Alameda Street), and starts at 9 pm on Sunday December 31, 2017. Tickets are $175 each, and you can get them here!

 

W Hollywood NYE Party

This New Years, you can celebrate the holiday on the rooftop of the W Hotel in Hollywood, CA. That’s right, the W Hollywood Loft & Rooftop Lounge is hosting NYElectric, the swankiest New Year’s Eve dance party in LA.

Throughout the night, you’ll enjoy 2 headlining DJs who spin at some of the hottest festivals and clubs, 4-hour premium open bar, and an incredible view of the city!

The event has a strict dress code: Cocktail attire, upscale chic, black tie encouraged.

Noon Year’s Eve at Kidspace Children’s Museum

If you are looking for a family friendly way to celebrate the holiday, head over to the Kidspace Children’s Museum and celebrate a little early! New Years Eve, families can celebrate the almost-new-year from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The even includes a balloon drop at noon, live DJs, party hats, dancing and more.
